changing uv textures from blender to cycles mapping all screwy

I’m trying to convert a house i made to the new cycles materials. The first thing i can not figure out is how to map a brick pattern to a cube. In previous versions you would select cube as the shape for the pattern but I just can’t find that option in the new version. The bricks always come out looking all screwy no matter what settings i use. Do i have to uv unwrap everything now and rotate each side in the uv editor? that would be a pain

Create your uvs as normal, the exact same way you would create them if you were using whatever renderer you used before cycles (eg blender internal, yafaray etc).
