Character Animation & Movement - SHARE HERE... (please^^)

Hi guy’s, i currently working on a short cartoon animation.

I parent an armature to an empty object in order to make the movent+animation , but this technique is very time consuming :(, especially when i have to animate the character in “non flat area”(i.e. : Hills) , or when the character have to interact with certain object…

so , anybody have other technique to combine animation & character location movement (x,y,z axis) ??? ,

please share with me , my workflow time is very horrible because i have to re animate the character each time i make new movement…

The best way I have found is to animate the character going where I want it to, ignoring the MASTER bone, ie leaving that where it started.

Having said that, you can also animate a walk cycle, then parent the MASTER bone to a curve to get it moving.

IIRC you can eather use an offset bone or a follow path constraint to the master bone. I don’t think that stride bones are available anymore
