I’m having trouble getting the Blender GE to play animations when the player hits a key. I set up a character and animated it’s rig for a walk cycle. I then imported the file into my main map .blend file and used the logic bricks to tell the character to walk when a certain key is pressed. When I then play the game it doesn’t work. Can someone please help!
you said you imported the character into a new blend? maybe the animations dont transfer when you do that?
They should do, you need to make sure the amarture animations are named Actions and in the logic panel, it must be like;
<uparrow>---->Action: <the name you named the walking animation in the actions editor>

As for your problem, is your animation and ipo or an action?
