So, why join?
Exciting Concept- the idea of such a genre blend of magical girls fighting giant monsters and other magical girls in such a way isn’t something that you see every day.
Experienced, Dedicated Team - Most of the team has experience in the games industry, having worked for studios such as Bungie, EA, Ubisoft, and others. Put simply, we know what we’re doing.
Fun Times – We’re looking to share this project to many people and in many ways- a lot of that will involve going to conventions and other showcase areas, which we will do our best to accommodate team members to participate in. Relatedly, we recently showcased the project at various expos and conventions in Washington State, wherein it got a great deal of positive interest.
Revenue Sharing – For your contributions to the game, we will, as stated, offer you both a revenue percentage share, and a portion of any financial influx we get by other funding means. All of which is outlined in our project contract.
Magical Showdown is a game about teams of magical girls and other fantastical beings and warriors beating the crap out of each other in a challenge to accomplish various objectives before the other teams do. With smooth, fast movement, flashy and glamorous attacks, and a variety of abilities and pickups, you get a fast-paced, melee-centric game unlike Battle Royales or Deathmatch-focused games currently on the market. It’s a PvPvE style game, very inspired philosophically by Splatoon, but also takes mechanical inspiration from games like Anarchy Reigns, S4 League, and others.

Artists with a sense of cartoonish, anime-esque artstyle are preferred, as well as animators with some fighting character experience. Example pieces of the artstyle are below.
