Character Rigging Issues

Help! I had done a very simple character model and a rig. The thing is that I can’t join them right. I tried with the Vertex groups names. My greatest achieve was that at last the bones are divided in the mesh, but with the slightest rotation or movement in Pose Mode of the armature, the mesh just flies away. What am I doing wrong?!

I just want a simple rig for a simple character for a VERY simple animation :frowning:

Take a look under deformers for the mesh. You have 18 rigs attached to the mesh. Get rid of 17 of them and see if that solves your problem.

And don’t be embarrassed; it’s a fairly common mistake when you’re just starting out.
