Is characters armature skinning working with GPU support ?
My game is using lot of characters and it’s slow down a lot.
Cull it. I doubt all of your animations are taking place in the camera view. So a simple way to improve performance is to not play the animations where not necessary!
I think GPU skinning is currently a feature request for UPBGE:
Whats the number of bones, also fk/ik? Use like 30 bones for characters and FK. Ik can make it slow. Switch in the panel to bge if you have not.
Main character is more than 30 bones , others are around 30 bones.
GPU skinning should help getting more characters at screen.
Do you use FK or IK, what about number of polygons on chars?
