This character sheet is something I did for the Jahshaka movie project. A number of Blenderheads there were interested in making the whole thing CGI. I’m not sure, but I think the project’s still up.
A poster for a mod for a long defunct game. Logos by me, except the “Haegemonia” text. My nick was “SwordBlade” back then.
I admit, this has mixed 3d elements (Blenderized of course) and some flames done in Apophysis. There are several errors in this piece, but I still like it. I think they still use it as the death screen in Vega Strike.
More character designs, done for VegaStrike. I think the current version still has them, but they’ve been talking about going full CGI for some time so they may not last.
The position of the legs look strange, I know. They’re supposed to be sitting, and not too comfortably.
“Space pirate”: not too proud. Designed upon specifications. He had to look half-dead.
“ISO Operative”: they still have militant communists in the 30th century, apparently. Her leg is just wrong.
“Confed pilot”: I got more leeway with this one, and I actually like the way he came out.
“Spy”. You could stumble upon all these fellows if you walk into a bar in VS… which is why I can’t recommend it. This one will get the information from you and then calmly slit your throat. This isn’t the last design… the robe, which is supposed to be some sort of termo-optic camo, was better rendered in the latest version.
I know, I know, the legs are wrong and I still have to learn to do drapery.
Thanks. And you’re right, “Mad Scientist” doesn’t describe him well. He’s supposed to be more of a multimedia wizard/hacker – a mix of the Jahshaka logo and a user demographics. The name stuck, somehow. Other sketches show him in full gear:
