Metal look awesome, Organic can be fine if you want her to look live. I would discard stone, it is not a material which allows you to carve such delicate and thin wings and legs…
I would keep them separate, after all there is that limit in vertex count for each single mesh

I didn’t like too much about bee so made somekind mosquito of it, modeling is pretty much done, but colors won’t work with cow so them need little work.
