im a complete noob to blender. I barely know its user interface, but ive got this video project coming up I think a cg chariot chase would be good.
considering i have a month and a half, does anyone believe thats enough time to learn how to use blender well enough to use constraits and such.
can anyone point me in a right direction, tuturial-wise
A month and a half ? No . Hopefully you have a sense of humor and look here .
Here are a few links to pre-rigged models made in blender . The horse and a couple and humanoids here and here . It will a take you at least a month and a half just to figure out how to control/animate them . Unless you are the messiah of the great prophesy Ton was fortold of when developing Blender yea a few years ago that is … And sorry no pre-made chariots apparently not many “Ben Hur” fans out there in the Blender community …
If you’ve got a lot of CG experience and you’re a fast learner, then you can probably get something done in a month (although a good chariot race sounds like more than a month project even for a major studio, honestly). If you’re a complete beginner then I would aim a little lower for your first project.
