I made a Magic Eye out of it:
I never could see the hidden pictures in those. I just end up getting a headache
When i finnally can see the image… I can’t focus on anythings else…
Have not seen one of these in a long time. Well done. Took a few sectonds to get the picture to pop out.

the shack always swallows the picture from my local internet link
heh those are always nice. i can see his head facing left…this one came into focus pretty fast
iv’e often wondered how these images were generated.
would you mind telling us what software you used?
I second that request(also to lazy to research on my own).
I can usually see these in 10seconds or so w/ no headache ![]()

yeah, i just found the stereogram sequencer plug-in (duh),
but there must be a way to use other textures besides z-buffer noise.
i toyed with the sequencer, but got a whole bunch of artifacts and crap…must be in the camera settings.
ah well, google is my fair weather friend ![]()
still to lazy, no link?
ahh what the heck…

Heh… It didn’t even occur to me that Blender would have a plugin.
I used a program called “Stereogram Maker” or “STmaker”. You just export a DXF from blender and import it. It will also take a grayscale image.
There’s a way to use an interpolation image other than just random noise, but I haven’t played with it much yet… Actually the Sebulba image was my initial test run, but I thought it turned out well enough to put it here.
If you want the software, you can get it here:
http://www.swiftgear.com/stmaker/features.html
and it’s freeware!
that software is sweet and easy… nice. i also like how it can save the depth field grayscale. wish i could do that in blender so easily, great for pp dof. thanks for the link!
I made a xeyed stereo pair out of this a long time ago too…but I think I deleted it a while back

my zutilz plugin makes it pretty easy to get a depth map…
