Am I the only one who think this is funny as hell? In case nobody has heard of this here’s a quote By Ed Zieralski

The White House press staff is getting hammered over the 12-hour delay in reporting Vice President Dick Cheney’s shooting accident while quail hunting in Texas. But hunters, no matter how well-known, rarely want to talk about shooting accidents.
There’s the hunter’s embarrassment and shame over shooting someone, and there’s the victim’s shock of getting shot while hunting. Cheney wasn’t cited for negligence, but he was issued a warning for not having an upland game bird stamp on his nonresident Texas hunting license, according to a Texas Parks and Wildlife report.
Meantime, the White House press staff is taking its own hits for not at least issuing a one-line statement shortly afterward saying that Cheney accidentally shot another hunter. Cheney shot Harry Whittington, a 78-year-old Texas attorney and political contributor to President Bush. Whittington was in stable condition last night and expected to recover fully.
I have a nice poem I heard:
Roses are Red;
Violets are Blue;
Cheney’s Got a Gun;
EVERYBODY DOWN!!
No, he was wearing a orange cap and came up behind him. When I wrote Dick Cheney shot lawyer in the subject, something changed it to “Prick Cheney” I don’t think Bill Gates likes Cheney.
I mean, this is a private matter. It wasn’t some bill passed, or legal action by the current administration… it was a hunting accident. I dont see huge news reels about when some guy accidentially gets a fishing hook in his foot, or when another person gets frost bitten while deer hunting in the cold. Unless they decide to sue some huge corperation on account of their moronic behavior.

It’s true, but the same could be said for Clinton’s affair with Lewinsky. I guess people are just horrible nosy f*ckers
What does dicky shotting someone have to do with freeing slaves? Unless the lawyer was authoring a bill to reinstitute slavery in the US? I know some people who would argue that we are already slaves to 1) the government, 2) the media, 3) an intenational conspiricy, 4) aliens who are manipulating us (ie. an inter plnaetary/galactic conspiricy). I know some strange people come to think of it.
The rest is the BS of American politics. I am democrate and have no grate admeration for Bush, Cheny, or even most democrate polititions for that mater but I recognize this outcry for Cheny to make a statement for what it is. The democrates in the Congress want him to have to publicly embarase himself and admit he is to old to be trusted with a gun and by extention the next shot at the white house. The president after all is in charge of one of, if not the, largest arsenals on earth(stated this way becasue I have no real knowlege of Rusian or Chinesse military strength ATM or any other countries for that mater).
