Cherry Attack

The scene was rendered in Blender cycles 2.8 with 1200 samples. Making the scene took us about 30h - mostly due to it being extremely laggy :sob:
(building BVH and initializing took 2.5 hours!!!)

Of course we had professional equipment as you can see :smirk:.

Unfortunately it was very windy on the day we shot the greenscreen footage. So basically one person was standing in front of the greenscreen getting hit in the face by it every few seconds and the other person was waiting for the one moment were it was possible to take a decent photo. Not ideal conditions. After that it was Photoshop time :art::paintbrush: For this render we used awesome textures and assets from poliigon.com

This was a collab with Icesturm

Thanks. It was because we had a rigid Body simulation for every single cherry :sweat_smile:

That sounds fun :joy: wish you all the best with the movie. I would love to see the result. Feel free to post the link as a comment when it’s done :slight_smile:

Which probably wasn’t the best idea we’ve ever had :joy:

No i was not referring to me attack of the killer tomatoes is a real movie ;

I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
