Chess Master

Hello there.
This is Angela, a chess prodigy.

I also enjoyed working on this project. I challenged 2 of my main weaknesses: hair and hands. The hair was the most challenging, from workflow to trying to match the reference. In the end I chose the one in the final renders for it’s elegant nature. Next was the hands, which used old versions of practice sculpts I retopologized. Getting the proportions and pose was fairly easier with this method.
The wireframe was based on Julien Kaspar’s shader which is really awesome.
