Did it mostly for fun and practice. For the material I followed Gottfried Hofmann’s way of creating an absorption shader. It’s freaking awesome.

Looks good. Ya, his absorption shader is awesome. I used it in a few things I’ve done. A word of advice though: upload PNG instead of JPG. The compression artifacts make the noise look a little magnetically patterned.

I’ll keep that in mind next time. Thanks! =)
