Great work on the two tone colours and the materials used. It adds depth (Is that the right word I’m looking for?) to the design.
It took me longer than it should have to realise the short piece at the front was the pawn, I kept on wondering why the bishop was soo short.

I don’t think the King’s standing on a platform, the “platform” is the head of a warhammer standing in front of him.
