Really nice render, very interesting looking. I think that when you tweak the settings of the edges a bit, you won’t get to see them on the faces that aren’t ehm, supposed to have edges. Perhaps just setting smooth will help, dunno 
I really like the black peaces having white edges and the composition, but I think the chess board has to much thickness (I mean the individual planes are too much extruded)
