You can see on the left that the “improved” run cycle for this model is choppy and the legs pop forward at certain points. What is a good solution? Should I make a frame where the leg extends further after that poppy frame? Is there someone who can offer me advice on fixing this models run cycle?
Go into the Graph editor and select the proper channels for that foot. Locate the frame(s) where the foot moves funny, and adjust the related curve(s) until it moves more to your liking.
A better explanation is difficult without a blend file to look at. You would do well to get a tutorial on how to properly do a run cycle. I suggest checking out one or more of these:
