Overall good.
Nice floor texture, nice model. Cannot comment on sticks texture since it is hard to see, but they look shiny as if they were varnished (sp?) whereas the sticks I’ve seen are usually unvarnished (sp again?)

I’m living in Japan and I’ve got to admit: they do look like the real thing. Just do something with the floor and render a close-up. A plate would be good too.
Good work. I like the way the floor looks, and the sticks do look good, but I would suggest two things:
First, I would separate the sticks. I’m sure you could find a way to compose the scene so we see both sticks, maybe cross them?
Second, I would suggest a slightly different lighting scheme. While the spot light gives you a certain feel to the peice (you may have wanted this feel), photorealism would be better achieved with several lights.
Other than those two things, I really like the work. But gosh chopsticks are hard to figure out how to use. 
The first time I used them, more of my food ended in my lap and not my mouth. Haha, oh well.

The modelling is a good start! I think you could make the image much more interesting if you change the composition. Try moving things away from the centre so much and try using different camera angles.

well I’m thinking of working on the Japanese style room for this objects with changing composition.
the second one has much better lighting and the bowl is great! 
are you going to model a whole meal, maybe even some food? I’d like to see how far this will go, because it’s very good so far!
