changed the particles as suggested and the font…think this one blends better with the image.
That’s some nice wrapping paper you got there - Where can I get some?
It’s a nice image, the presents look quite realistic.
Merry Christmas back to you!
Yearh, the presents look very realistic indeed. Love the wrapping paper. And it’s very nice that you can see were the paper is folded (the Blender logos isn’t continuealy all around the presents)
I also very much like the magic stardust kinda thing around the presents.
If you want to better this, I think you should try to make the magic particles less dence in the top. I like that it gets “smaller” the higher you go, but if the amount of particles decreased two, it would be even better.
And a very merry christmas to you too
Thanks for the good critics…the wrapping paper was the main part of the image, so I tried to get it the most realistic I could…I’d post a new image with less denser partcles, but I don’t think it’s the right section of the forum (It’s supposed to be a finished work right?)…
Again Merry Christmas!
nice job. merry Christmas
I like this very much. The wrapping paper is excellent. Like others already pointed out, it really looks like it’s wrapped around the presents. The ribbons and the knots are great too. The specularity is spot on.
Damn, it makes you want to open the presents!
One crit: I agree with J_M_D about thinning out those particles at the top. It will make the focus on the presents even stronger.
Very, very nice work Francesco!
Wow. Looks great. Perfect materials and, as others have said, great wrapping paper (and not just because of the logos). I think the sparkles could be tweaked a bit though.
How did you make those knots for strings?
I’m really happy you like my presents…:). I’ll post a new version as soon as it finishes rendering. I’ll just post it as edit in my first post.
@ mylvari: the knots were not made with curves. instead I created a first loop extruding a plane’s edge (creating something like the red AIDS bow), then copying that first loop, rotating it and merging it to the one first…complicated explanation but very easy to do. Sorry for my English…
Thanks again for the critics!
Cheers, Man, Great boxes, and Merry Christmass to you too…!
very good…Love the presents with the folds…merry christmas to you too
haha i like the wrapping paper
