What’s weird is that your character opens his mouth like he’s screaming.
Much too much jaw movement. The audio is such that his mouth movement should be subdued and discrete.
Excellent lip-sync. The jaw movement works for me.
I made the jaw-movement a bit over-the-top to coincide with the actual actor, Chris Walken. He normally over-exaggerates in a way as such. Thanks, dleri!
Does he also throw his head around like a crash test dummy? Every mouth shape looks like an OW sound.
Well, I’m still new to all this and if you want to act like ‘that’ then sure, go ahead. I’m sure you were much worse on your first try at a ‘lip-sync’. BTW, the rig doesn’t have very specific face controls. So I cannot emulate it that realistically…
Well you wanted feedback, given what you say it is a good start. I am terrible at animating but good at critiqueing.
