Testing and trying Blender’s sculpt, vertex paint and hair tools (plus unnecessary use of real time compositor… ), and also trying to do the lighting in ACES color space to see what’s the deal
I would try a smooth, blurred arc for the foot/leg… ie, imagine what you have there, but with a lot more steps between each one; it looks too … stair-step.
Or in fact, perhaps try no blur/movement lines at all?
That’s actually how it’s represented in the game (At least on Street Fighter 2), but maybe I can add an additional in between gentle steps to make it smoother. Thanks for the comment!
I’ve not played the game, so - if you’ve matched the game perfectly, then i cannot argue with that… but, perhaps the game could have made a better choice.
