I’m making a church logo for my youth group called “U-Turn” and wanted to run it by you guys. Made entirely in gimp.
It looks nice, but the style of the white text looks too generic, as does the font. And the ‘airborne’ part doesn’t look right…it just doesn’t fit. Perhaps make it part of the text layer so it’s not semi-transparent (and reduce transparency). Oh, and remember to use .XCF while working and PNG for the end result (JPEG artifacts suck, you know).
Hmmmm… no offense, but its probably not a great idea to steal the first image you find on the internet.

Actually I had that one on a data disc from a soldier I know in that unit, it’s a widely used patch.
Any updates to this?
