Circle Select (make it inactive after the selection?)

Hi. I would like to change the workflow of the circle select feature. I am not sure if this is possible…but I find it a bit contra-intuitive to have the tool active after I actually picked the vertex I want.

Is there any alternative in settings to make it work more dynamically ?

?? circle select is active until right click… What do you wanna change ?

Oh, the truth, I was using escape…instead of the other click.
But I think I, personally, would like more if it works while I press left-click and doesn’t work while unpress.
