Citroen BX Break

Hi everyone. i’m very early on in the stages of making a citroen BX break, my first proper car model. i chose it because 1) i actually quite like the car and 2)because the design itself is very angualr, so it should be easier to model. Here’s a screen shot of where i’m up to at the moment, maybe a bit early for C&C but if you have any please share them!

uhh… you sure did pick a very weird way to start modeling a car… lets see how this turns out

How would you usually start??

Take a look in this tutorial…It can help you a lot!!!

This is also a method to model cars, its called box modelling, it can be a headache sometimes (when mesh details scale up).

you are doing good, now I would suggest once you get the basic topology right, separate the parts and detail em.

cheers

Cheers guys, will have a look at that tutorial now.

Right, had a busy weekend with one of my best friends in hspital at the mo so sorry if i dont update very much :frowning: i’ll get working on this project in the little spare time that i have. so first things first, I am going to restart an make a cleaner mesh, and I think i’ll do it the boxmodelling way, cheers ART for the tut, it’s helped a lot! Righto, back off to blender i go…
