Anything specific you want critique on?
Thank you for your reply.
Iâm new at making full scenes, so anything regarding lighting, composition, textures, modeling, consistency. Is there anything that screams out âneeds improvementâ?
Overall i like the composition and the lighting. Everything is looking clear. Seems like you are going for a more stylized style with the low poly - Nice!
Something i like to do when im working on large scenes is asking myself: what does my image tell. In this instance i get the vibe of either 2 gangs meeting or some kind of transaction is about to happen.
I assume that the ones with the back to the camera are the âheroesâ and the other ones are goons.
If that is the case i would like to see more intention; why are they there? Add something that they would bring in this transaction.
The shadow gives a cool effect. I would soften it up a bit. So you donât have these really hard shadows everywhere.
I like the camera angle - depending on the end goal it has a Diablo-like feel to it. (The angle and distance) Which could be a style choice. But i think that undermines the time spent on all the cool models. Another idea could be to see it from behind the âheroâ characters.
Maybe add some weapons if sh*ts about to happen. Would add some tenseness to the scene. Which would amplify the situation illustrated.
Overall nothing looks off. Everything looks like it is well on its way to become a cool piece.
Hope some of this is useful to you.
This is definitely âhigh-key light,â and I think you did it very well indeed.
The light clearly comes from a single source. The foreground characters are well-lit but not overblown. Shadows are very-hard where they need to be, and softer where they need to be. The color temperature is very good. Moving outward from the foreground we see various other objects which are also âappropriately and evenly lit,â according to their distance from the light. The general composition is very good, resembling that of âa graphic novel.â I seriously canât offer anything that I see that would improve it.
I appreciate this feedback, thank you!
Thank you so much for the feedback and kind words!
