Clash On Little Pond

Hi guys!

This time, my work is a bit different from what I’ve been doing in the past few days. Rogério Perdiz gave me the mission to repaint a character that he originally modeled and painted some good years ago. This character is Shar, a shooting star that holds significant meaning. He is part of the Resilience Satelle story but will make an appearance in Clash On Little Pond. I’ll try to keep his original image, just refreshing patterns and colors! I’m still only painting on the blue shirt. (The one on the left is the original version and the one on the right is mine).

Hope you like it!
Best regards,

Hi guys!

Today I continued re-painting the character that Rogério Perdiz designed for one of our stories, Resilience Satelle, but who will also have a brief appearance in Clash On Little Pond. I finished painting the jersey today and moved on to the shorts. I decided to keep the original but adding a touch of more pronounced colors. What do you think?

The character is starting to look really great!
It’s good to see it being upgrade to 2024

Hi guys!

Here, I’m still repainting Shar, and so far, I’m loving the results I’ve been getting. Today, I managed to finish the shorts, maintaining the originality that Rogério put in but adding more intensity to the colors and a few extra details. Tomorrow, I’ll continue to work on detailing the gloves.

What do you think? :star: :star:

Hi guys!!

Today I finished the gloves! And I absolutely LOVED the final result. I enjoyed painting them immensely. I’m trying to maintain a resemblance to the original painting but giving it a “freshness” and vibrancy even in the darker colors.
Honestly, blacks and dark colors are very challenging for me to work with. I really enjoy when I can color and bring things to life; I wasn’t made to paint dark things, haha.
Tomorrow I’ll continue with the sneakers, to which I’ve already applied the base color.

Hope you like it!

Hi guys!

Today I was working on detailing the sneakers, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result I achieved. I still need to detail the sole, which I will do tomorrow.

What do you think? Did it turn out nice or not?

Hi guys!

Today I finished Shar’s shoes!! I had some difficulty with the sole to adjust depths in the painting but managed to solve it. For the sole pattern, I relied on some references I found during my research. On Monday, I’ll continue, starting with the cover, for which I already have some ideas.

*Meanwhile, my cat thought it was time to stop and give her attention. “Enough, Human, I’m the one who deserves attention here!!:joy_cat: :kissing_cat: :kissing_cat:

Have a great weekend!

She was sleeping by my side but then the sun started to reach her bed and she went to a cooler spot

Hi guys!

I hope you had a great weekend.
Today I finished repainting Shar’s cover and added a bit more detail.
I’m really pleased with the outcome. I used some references I found while researching to decide on the type of design I would put on the cover. I’m delighted with the result. I kept experimenting and testing, and I achieved more than I had imagined.
I’ll continue tomorrow.

What do you think?

I think that by now everyone has realized that Shar will show up in both Clash On Little Pound and Resilience Satelle, right?

Cool design! I’m curious to see how Shar will show up in COLP. He’s much bigger than a frog, right? Or are these frogs Shar-sized? Or frog-sized Shar.

Ah, we’re gonna find out eventually!

The frogs are Shar-sized
Think on the Resilience Satelle island, now imagine each island has a type of animal and that will be your key to unlock this mystery

Hi guys!

Today I finished everything that makes up Shar’s cover.
Today’s work was a bit slower, as I always had something else to do and had to keep stopping.
In the meantime, I started the buttons and they will be ready tomorrow, and I will make more progress on the painting.
I hope to finish the character this week. :star: :star:

I hope you like it!

Hi guys!

Today, I finished painting the buttons on Shar’s cape.
I also completed the hood he wears, and I am thrilled with the result!
I decided to add a touch of stardust and create a pattern that complements the cape. For the base color, I chose dark blue to symbolize the night sky, contrasting it with lighter tones to give it a magical, fantasy look.
I’ve started working on the eyes, which I know will be quite challenging, but I’m confident I’ll achieve a satisfying result.

What do you think? :crescent_moon: :milky_way:

Shar has never looked better! Great work @Rute_Perdiz!

Hi guys!

Today I managed to finish Shar’s glasses. I added some wear to the paint to give them a used look, so they don’t appear brand new. I also decided to include a detail, using references I found during my research.

Currently, I am working on adding more variation to his skin tone, which is proving to be quite challenging because it’s not an area I feel comfortable with. Painting skin has always been difficult for me, but I believe I will get there…

Hi guys!

Shar is finally finished!!

I am very pleased with the final result; it turned out much better than I could have imagined. With the new paint job, the character even looks rejuvenated. I managed to maintain his essence while giving him a refreshed look.

Here are some images for you to draw your own conclusions! :star: :crescent_moon: :star: :crescent_moon:

The treatment worthy of a Star

Hhi guys!!

Today I started a new object to introduce into the scene for our short film, Clash On Little Pond. As in every tavern, there always has to be cleaning supplies, right? So I decided to model the broom to keep the space nice and clean… at least as much as we can!

It’s going to be a quick object to make since it’s small. :broom: :broom:

What do you think? Is it looking good?
