This is a character I’m developing for a film, so my aim here is to make it realistic enough to fit in a live-action setting. Charaters are not my strong point but this one is fairly simple and with enough fine tuning it should work nicely. At the moment I am testing him in different environments and lighting conditions, as it’s appearance can change drastically; so I’m trying to get it looking good in any situation. The hardest part is minimizing the texture seams that are visible down the middle of the character and around the neck.
I have made a “test frame”, representing the style of an actual shot from the film, and in broad daylight. I think that if a CG character can work in daylight then it’s a good start.
