I’ve always wondered, how do these people unwrap for character so well?
Because whenever i relax or stretch the faces, usually the edges of the UVs are not orthogonal like this…
I do know eventually it’ll make the pixel stretch or…

If you want the edges to align then don’t use relax. You can also unwrap in sections and join islands in the UV editor
Thank you! I used alot of relax to get the biggest mesh faces to avoid stretched or squashed pixelsss.
However, when i align those pixels along axis,
I also acquired weird texture deformations… Is this something i can remove by unwrap or does it have to do with the mesh modelling?
