Clearing & Setting Rotation and Scale

I’m not sure what to call this, but I vaguely remember seeing it in a tutorial.

I created a mesh, then flipped it, then scaled it. Now I’d like to apply an Array modifier to it, but the copy resembles the original mesh. The copy is small and laying on its side, the same as the original mesh.

Can someone please tell me what command to use to “set” the rotation and scale?
I remember a key sequence or command to make this permanent, but I’m not sure what it’s called.

I’m using Blender 2.55.

Thanks for any and all help.

Ctl-A to apply scale or rotation

That’s what I was looking for. So sorry I didn’t get your answer but the forum is quirky in work. I’ve left that place and started a new life.
All is well.

AlanK gave you the usual solution to this problem. If it doesn’t fix yours, post your .blend, otherwise we are just guessing.

Best wishes,

Sorry to you too, MCollett. I’m just getting the correct form info here at home.
Yes he did give me the correct answer.
Started a new job last week and I haven’t got back to this. Now I settle in back to my life again.
