Click & Create Path

Hello, I have a very simple question.

I am new to Blender, however I’ve been frequent with Google Sketchup & 3DS Max.

So I’ve created a path object, and I applied a curve modifier to it so I can create a smooth road with even turns, and I plan to extrude once it’s done.

However, I find it a bit difficult to create other Path objects and connect them to my current path.

Would it be possible to:

“Create Path > Curve > Click & create new connected path”?

I’ve seen video with an example of somebody performing this action, however it’s not clearly shown how.

Basically I’d like to be able to “Click > Move > Click > Move > Click > Move” and each click creates a new path.

Or is it that it is possible to expand the path, and the user in the video was simply click & dragging? I haven’t been able to reproduce this action.

So is there any way to get a path to go continuously?

Selecting one end of a path you can use E to extrude it or Ctrl+LMB click
You can join two or mode paths with Ctrl+J and use F to fill in gaps
