[Closed Beta] VORVEXON RC5 — Safe Game-Asset Workflows for Blender 5.1.2

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for 3–5 Blender game-asset artists for a small free closed beta of VORVEXON RC5.

VORVEXON is a Blender 5.1.2 add-on for controlled game-asset preparation workflows. The focus is visible scope and recovery: Scan → explicit scope → Preview / Confirmation → Backup / Restore → evidence.

The first RC5 beta scenarios currently focus on:
• Smart Collision Builder — preview, create, rebuild and remove lifecycle
• Controlled Bake + Restore — Normal, Ambient Occlusion and Curvature image recovery

The add-on also includes asset review, controlled workflow evidence and verified UE5 FBX export that creates a new file and blocks overwriting an existing path.

This is a closed technical beta. I need honest bug reports and clarity feedback, not promotional reviews.

Requirements: Blender 5.1.2 and a COPY of a small asset or .blend file. A test takes about 15–30 minutes. Please do not use a production file or send private files.

Request beta access here:

If you apply, please mention your usual asset type and which scenario you would test. I will send the package only after matching one scenario to your workflow.

Thank you — every issue will be documented and triaged.

I read your post thrice but I still have no idea what your add-on actually does

Fair point — thank you. The original post described the safety model better than the actual jobs, so here is the concrete version.

VORVEXON RC5 is not a one-click “make my model game-ready” tool and it does not automatically repair arbitrary meshes. It is a Blender 5.1.2 add-on for a small set of controlled game-asset preparation workflows:

• Scan & review: checks selected mesh assets for issues such as non-manifold geometry, N-gon risk, missing UVs, missing materials, and missing bake targets.
• Smart Collision Builder: previews the exact scope, then creates, rebuilds, or removes a simple collision proxy only after confirmation.
• Controlled baking: prepares and runs Normal, AO, or curvature workflows for a checked HIGH → LOW pair. Before a bake, it backs up the target image pixels; the tester can restore those pixels afterward.
• Batch review & UE5 export: reviews a selected batch and can export a verified UE5 FBX package without overwriting an existing file.
• Support Bundle: copies a read-only diagnostics report for bug reports.

The point is to make a few repetitive asset-prep operations visible, limited in scope, and reversible — not to replace modeling, UV work, or artist judgment. For this RC5 beta, I am specifically looking for feedback on one of those workflows.

I will also revise the opening post so this is clear at a glance. Thanks again for calling it out.
