Cloth and particle system issues

Hey all,

I wonder if you could help…
I have a particle system set up on 1 object and another object called green paper which takes an instance of the particle emitter using the particle instance modifier.
The particle system is setup so that it fires 3 particles over 100 frames.
The green paper object has a cloth modifier added to it.
There is also a floor with collision physics.

All seems to work well, all 3 green paper’s fall and act like cloth.
BUT all the particles are falling at the same time?? The only option I can see to fix this is in the green paper’s particle instance modifier where I can uncheck UNBORN and DEAD. However when I click on this all hell brakes loose and things just look really buggy.

I’ve attached a video of what I’m describing in hopes it might explain things a bit easier.

What I’m after is cloth physics from a particle emitter.

Thanks in advanced

Try going into Particles > Cache and scooting the cache steps down to 1 instead of 10. That usually solve very similar problems I have.

hey ColossalCake unfortunately your suggestion isn’t working :frowning:

If I turn down the emitter number to 1 it works but as soon as I put it above 1 it messes up. I’ve also noticed that as soon as the second particle is fired thats when it messes up.
