Cloth clipping into wall after wind sim animation?

I’m new to blender and decided to mess with cloth physics and wind simulation. So I have a banner against a wall and the wind sim works until the end when I have it set to go to 0 for a less jerky loop. once it get to that point my banner doesn’t collide with the wall and goes through it.

Collision collection: collection

Add collision modifier to the wall ??

Mesh subdivision and or high poly topology can improve the collision issues. Also substeps can improve collision in fast simulations
