Cloth Sim

I am trying to create Cloth simulation but everytime I add stitches to the cloth mesh it flies off doesnt stay attaches to the main mesh. How do I solve it?

Two options really.

  1. All details on the cloth are done via textures. So normal maps, etc to basically ‘visually fake it’.

  2. You use two meshes, one that is more then a ‘simple’ mesh with no details for simulation and then a second mesh which has all the details and sits right on top of the simulation mesh.
    You can then use modifiers to make the detail mesh stick too and move with the simulation. My video goes over the basics of this method.

Does this work with tshirt model?

The general principle will work with anything really. Your biggest problem will in fact be getting the base cloth sim to work and look good/correct.
