Cloth simulation, help needed

Hello!

I’m trying to make a cloth simulation, but the cloth keeps doing this:


It’s not sticking to the surface of the table, but instead appears to be inside the table. Please help me fix this and explain why this is happening, if possible. Thank you for reading!

  • apply scale
  • check normals (face orientation)
  • check collision bounding type on the table- change to mesh
  • scale everything up by ten

I suggest you try Atelier.
In terms of simplicity, speed, precision… whatever, Blender just can’t compete.
