Hi Everyone!
I’m very new to Blender Artists. I’ve been using Blender for the past couple of years and figured maybe it was time to get some feedback on some of my work for improvement If anyone here is familiar with Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, there is that scene towards the end where Luke and Darth Vader duel in that Dark, Bottomless Reactor Shaft. This is my attempt at recreating that scene in Blender.
For this shot, I had to render the actual Shaft wall portion on a Separate Render layer, and also run a Cycles Baking so that for the final render, it would come out more smoothly.
For these two shots, I rendered both the shaft walls and the Gantry (or whatever it’s called…lol) on the same layer. Reason why is because this scene is super huge! The Gantry itself is huge, and therefore, I had to model the Cylinder portion to be even larger, but the camera will not pick up the entire scene into view, even if I set the clipping to 1km.
So this is what I have so far, with the final rendering and compositiing. Any feedback and suggestions would be appreciated
