Coding beyond gaming what more is done with Blender and unity ?

Now that visual studio 2017 will support unity, i am starting to wonder, beyond gaming where is unity commercially used ?.
I know once i applied for a coding job, where yachts could be followed online, so people could see their ship and get prompts that they run out of wine, with on display their ship on a google alike world map…
but beyond such exotic programs, i wonder where is unity used outside of the gaming market.

Because i wonder i have used Blender 4 years now, and code C# 4 years so maybe there are job directions where knowing Blender + Unity + coding makes sense beyond game development. (as i might rapidly read myself into unity).
