This might look even better if the radius of the “tree” is bigger or the UV scalling is adapted … ![]()
at this point I started looking for a procedural UV unwrapped tree. geotree is but dunno how to handle the seams at the branches
This is always hard because the bark starts to “divide” when the branch starts… so the texture should make a round spot at the position which the might transit into the branch texture. And then again for sub-branches.
I have never seen such a “perfect” procedurl textur for a tree… the best ones use two texture approaches for trunk/branch to subbranch and mixing them or even have overlapping geometry going transparent and the connection between them…
