Collection Utilities Addon version 3.0 is now available
This is an update to support the new Blender 4.2 release, which introduces the new extensions platform, and a new modern format for extensions.
The new extensions platform now expects a new format for addons based on .zip archive file format with a new internal structure.
End users visible changes are small, it is now installed from Edit > Preferences > Extensions, then from the dropdown arrow on the top right, choose Install from Disk.
Other than this change and some new defaults minor adjustments and cleanup, no functional changes are expected. Since this is a new format, if you catch any snags do let me know.
I’ve updated the original post with new download link, the original version will remain available indefinitely for anyone using older versions of Blender.
