Collision and movement

There’s an attached .blend in this thread. There is a spaceship, and a deformed plane. I want that the spaceship when collides to the plane: 2 options

1º to stop the z location movement
2º or go 1 blender unit on the z axis

How do I do it?

what I would suggest is making your motion actuators into servo controls, making your object dynamic(that way it doesn’t fly through the plane) and then reduce the mass of your object so it doesn’t fall out of the sky. If all else fails reply and I will try making it work with how you have it set up
