I haven’t learned this yet but… I was wondering would this work with a object that is set in the ocean modifier? I know the fluid domain has this but, you can’t make a big scene with that. trying to have waves bounce off something.
I don’t think so, but you can add a dynamic canvas, and have it set to waves. Then have the collision be the brush
You can use dynamic paint to create secondary waves like the wake of a boat, but nothing can interact with the waves that the ocean modifier itself generates.
Oh, I know, particles, just get a few million particles (metaballs). This method is realistic, but would take over an immense amount of space
