What bounds are you using? This looks like bounds aren’t enabled or sphere? Either way, try enabling convex hull bounds and raise the model about a foot from the floor; does the model start that low, if so the intersection may cause it to fly off. Otherwise, make sure any children of the physics object are set to ghost or more efficiently, no collision.
