Collision Velocity

hello i am making a physics sand box game and it is coming along nicely but there is one object that i want to explode when it hits another object and there combined velocity is over ‘X’. is there a simple way to mesure velocity of a collision.

I’m not sure what you mean by the velocity of a collision, but if you know your math well enough than all you need to know is you can get velocity via python with:

velocity = object.getLinearVelocity()

Collisions can be detected with collision sensors.
