Is it possible for an armature to have collision without it being a “dynamic” actor? If so, can someone tell me how to do this?
I don’t think that it is possible to have collision on a deformed mesh.
I would like this myself, but the only suggestion I have is to have the object parented to a empty and have the empty do the movement. Check my demo Blendlet to get a better idea.
I’ve the same problem, i would like to have collision with a figther character, i try to parent an empty or an object to a bone but when i play the game the parented one don’t move.
I have a solution but it’s unuseful for me:
Parent an object to a bone or armature, make the Action and next insert foe every frame the ipo for the object, this work but i have many actions and i don’t find a way to select the ipo for every action…
Sorry for my english…
Bye
Did you obtain that? I have the same problem, not with an armature, in my case it´s only a mesh, i would like to use a collision sensor without makint it a dinamic actor… I don´t understand how to do this suggestion with a parented empty…
I don’t know, but i think is possibile to have collision on a mesh, important that is “actor” but is not necessary to be “actor - dinamic”.
I resolve my problems, in the 2.46 RC1 parent to bone works also in realtime, but the object parented moves a little different when follows the bone…
