Color Grid in a Startup File?

Another LTS in late beta, another fresh Startup file setup. This time, having noticed how often I use Blender’s color grid (one of the generated UV test grids), I’m considering setting one up in my startup.

Even after multiple saves, the color grid remains procedurally generated and the resolution can be modified in the UV Editor’s n-panel (unless I texture paint or such on it, then it changes from Generated to Single Image). It doesn’t seem to add much to the file size, in my tests between 1 to 5k depending on the resolution. I haven’t noticed a performance hit. I’m not seeing a downside here – have I missed something?

(I thought of putting this in Materials & Textures, but it seemed more like a Basics & Interface question.)

It’s procedural generated so the only data needed (to save) is size, type, etc… and of course name… so: you decide.

So far, so good – thx!

This is my current change-list for a new-version raw recreation of my startup file, and the two home-made HDRIs I default in Viewport Shading > Material Preview:
