I’ve seen some screenshots of blends and sometimes I notice that the UI colours are different… like a different skin for blender, I guess. How do you do that?
Go to the user preferences window at the top (LMB and drag down the window) and you will see a “themes” button . Click on it and you have a couple of fields with up and down arrows . the default are “3D View” for the top one and “Background” for the lower one . Just click on the up and down arrows to select the desired window type and area etc. It basically like changing themes on windows . Oh and above the two fields you can name your new theme .
The color can be changed with the RGB sliders to the right etc .
Change your theme to whatever you like and it will show up in the field where it says “Default” now (click it it will show your new theme and another named “Rounded”). Ctrl-U and it will become your new theme .
