I’ve just finished my entry for the Doritos Crash the Superbowl contest. I used Blender for almost all of the 3d in it.
Nice. Looks a bit unrealistic when the nacho comes in though…
lol yea, no way could I get it looking realistic in a month along with all the other stuff I had to do.
I saw this earlier today on youtube. Nice work.
The only thing I dont like about is that its a bit too fast to read the label on the cart, you can see theres something there, but dont have time to read even the first word. Also its a little unclear when the cart hits the barrel and starts the flood.
I like it though, especially the way the guy (I’m assuming its you) just turns around casually and heads in the other direction as if he sees it every day (seemed funny to me :eyebrowlift2:)
I entered the Australian contest with this and was beaten by this.
Tell me thats not bull$^@#!
Anyway goodluck.
yah, if you could touch up the nacho cheese stuff this would be perfect, nice work
It has potential cause it’s very funny.
Deadline was up yesterday for this.
If I had more time on the contest though, I would make it look more realistic (especially the hallway scenes).
Yea the label on the cart says “WARNING Nacho Cheeze, risk of serious injury or death!” and what makes it is a stick figure drowning in a vat of cheese in the typical black and yellow sign style of drawing.
That’s also something I’d fix: the label goes by too fast. It takes too long to re render it, otherwise I would in a heartbeat. (IIRC, it was about 20 minutes per frame with 180 frames).
Hehe, yea that was me, the guy who was turning around. My friend bobby is the guy who gets hit by the door and rides the wave. My friend Kyle is the guy in the security room, and my friend Steven is the guy enjoying the cheeze.
Yea that is bull$^@#!. Editing was bad on that one. I gotta say though… something was missing from yours, though I’m not sure what.
LOL that was fun to watch…
the funniest part is how the guy turns around as he sees the cheese-stuff coming from the left
Haha! Yea that was me.
