Comparing strings

Hey,
I’m quite new to blender’s python. I want to compare Strings. I tried using ‘==’, ‘=’, .equals(). They don’t work. I’m probably missing something.

import bge

def main():

cont        =   bge.logic.getCurrentController()
scene       =   bge.logic.getCurrentScene()
player      =   cont.owner

mainRig     =   scene.objects['Obj1']

if mainRig["Action"]=='Move':
    player['HP']=111

main()

To bge python, I am a beginner, so please make this simple.

I updated the code, and it works, now.

I had no clue that indenting was that impactful
