Compositing boat with ocean

Hey everyone, I am a newbie so please try to elaborate :). Anyways, I followed a couple tutorials and created my ocean, but I’m having trouble compositing a REAL model (NOT cg) speedboat into the ocean. I want ripples and foam/spray to be generated by the hull of the boat. Does anyone know or have a suggestion on how to do this?

Perhaps you could use the tracker to create an object track in CG space and attach emmitters or proxy objects as Atom suggests.
