You need more contrast and material glossy enhancements

On what icon should I need the glossy enhancements?

On the .Notepad for example you ve a side light making a soft highlight with two shadows.
You have to manage your lights positions for reaching this. And then play with your material to mimic this glossiness.

Great idea to give your PC a bit of a personal touch! The only issue seems to be the amount of samples and how those rolled up paper bits look, with a somewhat awkward color.

I put the light in the same place as the photo, so that can’t be the problem, but I’ll try change the materials. And these are supposed to look realistic, and it wouldn’t look THAT shiny.

Thanks! The samples are low because my computer is a garbage fire, and you’ll see it in 64x64 anyway (maybe even lower!) And the paper looks weird because:

  1. I added slight SSS to simulate real paper.
  2. I used a sloppy cloth simulation on 1 piece and used that same piece 50 times.

I know it looks a bit weird, but again, it’ll be seen tiny.
